Photo description:

A difficult moment of light in the late morning and a strange dull sky. In the far distance the sound of a few thunders. Canola in foreground gave a special mood to the compo. It seemed to work inside a light-box giving back a diffusion effect. A magical glamour embedded everything around. I found this slide chrome a few days ago so I wanted to give a chance to this work. Not sure about result because I still prefer the original slide-chrome projected on the old cloth-screen! Camera PENTAX LX on tripod and PENTAX Zoom Lens 40-80mm on 60mm. KODAK slide-chrome 100 EKTA SW (means:Saturated Warm. This slide was very well known even for a slight glamour effect. For this reason I used it in that special moment.I had special chance to test that slide-chrome because Kodak sent me and other peoples a test-box of new different films through Italian Photo Federation FIAF). ISO 100.Shutter release cable and mirror blocked up to avoid vibrations. This is the underexposed slide of -1/3. Manual exposure; manual focusing; hyperfocal. Date: May 1997!! Original slide scanned on EPSON Perfection 3200.
PS Val d’Orcia in the past years was more rich of many different colours, dyes and nuances. Nowaday it is no longer so!
