Photo description:

This architecture is a bank, located in western side of Japan.
This bank is the biggest in Sanin region of Japan and the highest architecture in Shimane Prefecture.
I wanted to express two points as follows in this photography.

1. Point of View
I composed this architecture with light and shadow. In this photography, the architecture represents a thing in our daily life. And light and shadow represent happy thing and sad thing.

What I wanted to express was when people look the same thing, all people see a thing from a different perspective and people take thing a different way.

2. All things have depth
I gave a three-dimensional appearance to the architecture, with connecting light and shadow seamlessly. As I mentioned, the architecture represents a thing. All things have backgrounds, stories, and processes of coming to the surface.

I always feel that all things have depth, like a three-dimensional object. That’s why I gave a three-dimensional appearance to the architecture with light and shadow.

These are the reasons why I selected this architecture and composed the architecture with light and shadow. And what I wanted to express in this photography.

You made a great job and your words show that you got this beautiful picture because you wanted this result and you had it clear in your mind before shooting.
