Photo description:

Genesi 1,1-5 (Genesis 1,1-5)
In principio Dio creò il cielo e la terra.
(In the beginning God made the Heaven and the Earth).
La terra era informe e deserta e le tenebre ricoprivano l'abisso e lo spirito di Dio aleggiava sulle acque.
(And the Earth was waste and without form; and it was dark on the face of the deep: and the Spirito f God was movin on the face of the waters).
Dio disse: «Sia la luce!». E la luce fu.
(And God said, Let there be Light: and there was Light).
Dio vide che la luce era cosa buona e separò la luce dalle tenebre e chiamò la luce giorno e le tenebre notte.
(And God, looking on the Light, saw it was good: and God made a division between the Light and the Dark, Namig the Light, Day, and the Dark, Night).
E fu sera e fu mattina: primo giorno.
(And there was Evening and there was Morning, the First Day).
Difficult, very difficult that words above don’t raise to mind when travelling through Val d’Orcia, Tuscany, Italy. A rough land almost looking like the Earth at its beginning. Light and Dark always fighting under the sky and drawing strange patterns onto soil…..and “hidden” water that is possible to admire through plants, trees, grass and all living beings.
Single file tonemapped in HDR PhotoMatix. Camera on tripod.
Camera LEICA V-Lux 114 type. Date: Sept. 2017. Manual Exposure. ISO 80. Lens 25-400mm at 73mm.
