JUNYA NAKAI has a career as a textile designer more than 25 years. His main field is woven fabrics, but he is continuing to make other design for print and especially for digital printer design. He always takes photos of it and create like a digital art photograph.
Then He realised that these artworks does not only use a textile design, but should be expressed as artistic photography. Also, textile design often uses patterns of flowers. He’s familiar with design of flowers. So, this is inevitable that he chooses flowers for the motif of his expression elements.
