Great purple stripes ! Amazing !

Ursula I Abresch replied:

Thank you, obrigado! I prefer Rachmaninoff over Madonna any day, BTW, even though this is "pop" not "classical" :)

eh eh eh :))) This is not Rachmaninov, Ursula. This is more Alexander Borodin and definitively not "pop" :)

Ursula I Abresch replied:

Borodin! Thank you. I will dream of the Steppes of Central Asia now (the first Borodin piece that came to mind). :)

Beautifull Book Ursula..the gentle lines and colours i like it a lot..how did you light it?..Best Regards
Thank you for your reply, and sharing, Ursula ..;-)

Ursula I Abresch replied:

Thank you! I put paper strips on their side (edges showing) on an improvised light table, a piece of glass covered with a white plastic bag, a lamp underneath, but not directly underneath, a bit at a slant, because the light was too strong otherwise.

You and your husband are invited to go to a Fado's house in a traditional Lisbon neighborhood.
I'm sure Rui Pires will show you also the traditional "Fado de Coimbra". This is a variety of fado sang by university students. Rui studied in Coimbra and we can talk about it much better than me :)
Oh, I forgot to talk about the photo! Well... it's marvelous like a beautiful "fado" ;)

Ursula I Abresch replied:

Thank you, Carlos, for the invitation and the nice words. I've been listening to more "fado" (and trying to find out what it is, for example, I've found out that there's supposed to be two main kinds, the Lisboa kind and the Coimbra kind ... I don't know if that is true). It is beautiful music!

Thank you, Ricardo!

You are so creative and I love each of your pieces of work, love the the colours and tones you use as well as the forms, waving movements and softness I can feel in your images...:)
I also really apreciate that you share how you did things, real artists and compassionate people are not affraid to share their "secrets" as they always have more to win than loose.
