Photo description:

His name in the valley, the Basa de la Mora, comes from a medieval adaptation of pre-Christian legend of the Lady of the Lake: it is said, a Muslim woman came here fleeing the fighting between Muslims and Christians, and was lost. His spirit remains in the Ibón and pure soul people can still see her emerge from the water at dawn on the night of San Juan. The villagers of the valley up that night to his annual meeting with the Queen, and purify his soul by washing in water of the lake with the first ray of sun.

As they say in the valley grandmothers to their grandchildren: If you move up one morning from San Juan to Ibon, not you saw, you have to think about washing your soul clean ... Only the eyes can see the princess dwells on the peaks .
